  • moore_logo_200_85 Moore Industries’ AC Power Transducers continuously track the amount of power being consumed by an electric device or a system. Available models accept an AC input from a “load” device such as a motor, pump or heater. They provide a proportional milliamp output for determining equipment power use and operating efficiency. They can also be used to trip automatic power control equipment to initiate energy conservation measures. Moore Industries’ AC power transducers are available in 1, 1-1/2, 2, 2-1/2, and 3 element versions. They may be either self- or externally-powered.
  • moore_logo_200_85 Moore Industries’ universal PSD PC-Programmable Loop Display features a large integral display that shows real-time process status in mA, percent, or any designated 5-character Engineering units (EGU). Superior Accuracy–The loop-powered PSD reads any 4-20mA signal and displays the information with phenomenal accuracy of ±0.012% of input scale. And because it requires less than 2.3 Volts, it won’t burden most loops. Simple and Versatile PC Setup Program– Using the PC software, the PSD can either be custom scaled to display in a percent or scaled directly into engineering units for indicating process measurements such as pressure, temperature, level, or fl ow. Span, zero, input range, display range, and fi ltering frequency can also be easily programmed. Our software will even capture the input range limits of the loop to provide you with the most accurate display available

PROSCAN SERIES - PP, PTFE LEVEL RADAR TRANSMITTER

The ProScan Series transmitter measures the liquid level inside the tank or sump by using an all plastic (PP or PTFE) antenna or horn that sends and receives  low energy radar pulses.  The sensor is mounted to the top of the tank and the pulsed signal is reflected off the liquid surface, the echo (returned signal) is then picked up or received by the transmitters antenna. The time it takes is compared to known laws of physics (speed of light), once this is done the distance can be determined, and very accurately measured. Distance = (Speed of Light x Time Delay) / 2 The ProScan Series does not contact the process liquid and therefore is an excellent choice for applications that may be corrosive, coating, dirty, or crystallizing. The are temperature compensated over the entire range (-40260°F) and can be used on to measure liquid under pressure or vacuum. The ProScan Series is both reliable and accurate; there is no requirement for re-calibration, and virtually zero maintenance as there are no moving parts. The ProScan Series utilizes a special microprocessor technology and mapping software that allows it to be used where other non-contact level sensing products fail or go lost i.e. Ultrasonics on Foam, Vapor, Condensate or Turbulence.

The Levelpro PLS Series compact level switches combine low cost and reliability with fast, simple installation. The all plastic level switches contain an hermetically sealed reed switch that is actuated by magnets that are permanently bonded inside the float. They can be easily adapted to open or close a circuit based on the rising or falling of the liquid level. The switch action can be reversed by removing the float, rotating it end-for-end and replacing it on the stem. Vertical models mount internally, oriented within 45° of vertical, or select optional fittings for external mounting. Switch ratings are suitable for many solidstate control systems and small monitors or alarms. Simple relay interfaces can be used for higher current applications such as pumps and on-off valve actuators

    Areas of Applications:

Machines / Tanks / Boilers / Corrosive Liquids / Chemical Skids / Sumps / Solvent Recovery Systems / OEM Applications

    Working Principle:

As a direct result of rising or falling liquid a magnetic field is moved into the proximity of a reed switch causing its actuation.

    Advantages:

    • Cost Effective
    • Easy to Install
    • High / Low level Indication
    • All Plastic Design
    • Excellent Chemical Resistance
    • Horizontal / Vertical Operation

  •     MX Pipe-Insert Immersion Heater is designed to provide uniformly distributed heat to storage vessels containing high viscosity liquids such as asphalt, molasses, tar, paint, glue, wax and oils without causing charring or coking. Units are installed in a suitable metal pipe contained inside the storage vessel (minimum 2" (51 mm) diameter), then heat is transferred safely from the heating element of the MX heater to the inner wall of the pipe by a combination of convection and radiation. This heater is a safe, cost-effective and virtually maintenance-free solution that eliminates the need for high maintenance pumps or open flames, which may present a fire hazard, especially when the liquid being heated is flammable.
  • moore_logo_200_85 Moore Industries’ durable PIH Pressure–to-Current Transmitter provides an economical solution for any process that requires a rugged instrument capable of interfacing a pneumatic device with a data acquisition / control system, controller, recorder or other electronic instrument. This compact yet powerful unit accepts most pneumatic signals (3-15psig, 0.2-1 bar, 3-27 psig etc.) and accurately converts them to a proportional 4-20mA output.
