The Pepperl+Fuchs 5000Q series Ex pz purge is a small and compact purge system. The 5000Q operates by controlling and monitoring compressed instrument air or inert gas through the protected enclosure(s) to remove and prevent the accumulation of flammable gas, vapors, or dust. It is a powerful purge system designed to meet your Zone 2, 22 installation requirements. The 5000Q series control unit features these main parts:

Up to 3 PT100 RTD’s connected for temperature monitoring or control

LCD for viewing programming and operation modes

Field configurable through menu driven programs for most applications

The Pepperl+Fuchs all-new 5500 Series Type Z purge and pressurization system is the newest system from Pepperl+Fuchs that provides easy selection, installation, and operation for enclosures located in Division 2 / Zone 2 hazardous areas. The Type Z / Ex pz solutions consist of a control unit, vent, and solenoid valves. The combination of automation and configurable functions support even the most difficult applications.

The Pepperl+Fuchs Bebco EPS 6000 series Type X/ Ex px purging system is a complete automatic system that will purge and pressurize the protected enclosure and maintain pressure within the enclosure. Note: Vents are required for all 6000 series purging systems. The 6000 series purge system reduces the classification within the protected enclosure from Zone 1 and 21 to non-hazardous area. General purpose equipment can be operated within the protected enclosure.

Suitable for Class I and II, Division 1/ Zone 1 and Zone 21 to non-hazardous area applications

6500 Series Ex px Purge System
The Pepperl+Fuchs Bebco EPS 6500 Series Ex px purge and pressurization system provides reliable protection for operating general-purpose electrical equipment in Zone 1/21 explosion hazardous locations. Utilizing the flexible Ex p protection method, the 6500 Series is a fully automatic system. It will purge a common enclosure of hazardous gas or dust and maintain a positive pressure, reducing the classification within the protected enclosure from Zone 1/21 to a non-hazardous area.
