Thermon Heating Systems

Thermon Heating Systems is a world leader in the development and production of advanced heating and filtration solutions for industrial and hazardous area applications. Brews Supply is proud to represent their brands: Caloritech™, Ruffneck™ and Norsemen™ Heaters.

  •   Circulation Heaters Type Ex. Designed for forced flow or natural flow applications. Standard designs ranging from 0.6 to 672kW… higher kWratings are also available.Optional features include built in high limits and thermostats, stainless steel wetted parts. moisture resistant or explosion-proof housings. CRN registered vessels for Canada. Authorized to bear the U and N stamps, depending on ASME code classification (Section VIII or III)
  •   CWCB Packaged Circulation Heater is designed for installation in circulating loops where space is limited. The basic unit can be equipped with various control packages which will allow the heater to function as a commercial swimming pool heater, a side arm domestic water heater or commercial dishwasher booster heater, or a commercial hot water furnace for comfort or process heating.
  •   CX Domestic Immersion Heaters were developed as high quality replacements for the most commonly used heater types. The CXC is available in a range of styles, including 2.5" (64 mm) square flange with tinned copper sheath, 1" (25 mm) tapered brass plug with copper sheath, 1" (25 mm) non-tapered brass plug with copper sheath and round flange with zinc plated copper sheath. The CXI is available with a 2.5" (64 mm) square flange with Incoloy® sheath. Elements are epoxy-coated to protect the heater from moisture and other contaminants that can lead to premature element failure.
  •     Electric Steam Boilers are available in Horizontal and Vertical models and can be used as a sole source of steam, or readily adapted to dual energy systems. They come in three different series.
  •     CXC Flange Heaters are used primarily for water heating applications and feature copper sheathed elements silver brazed to a steel flange. CXI Flange Heaters are well suited for heating water, especially in hot water and steam boilers, as well as heating mildly corrosive solutions in rinse tanks, spray washers, etc. The heater features incoloy® sheathed elements silver brazed to steel flange. CXF Flange Heaters are used primarily for heating applications involving oils, gases and mildly corrosive liquids. They are constructed of incoloy® sheathed elements silver brazed to a steel flange.
  •     The GE Regular Duty Forced Air Unit Heaters are intended for use in regular duty industrial and commercial space heating applications. The GX Heavy Duty Forced Air Unit Heaters are specifically engineered for heavy duty heating supply in industrial environments.
  •     DXC Over-The-Side Immersion Heaters feature copper sheathed elements and are typically used for heating water or water solutions that will not corrode copper. They are ideal where easy removal of the heater for cleaning or inspection is required. The DXC is available in single phase or three phase with single element or three element configurations. DXI Over-The-Side Immersion Heaters feature incoloy® sheathed elements, while the DXS features steel sheathed elements. They are typically used in water rinse tank heating applications where contaminants that would be corrosive to copper are present. They are also suitable for oil based solutions and other chemical solutions that are not corrosive to incoloy® (DXI) or steel (DXS). They are ideal where easy removal of the heater for cleaning or inspection is required. The DXI and DXS are available in single phase or three phase with single element or three element configurations. DXN and DXT Over-The-Side Immersion Heaters feature high grade inconel® (DXN) or titanium (DXT) sheathed elements and are typically used in liquid heating applications where copper, stainless or incoloy® are unsuitable because the solution being heated would be corrosive to these materials. They are ideal where easy removal of the heater for cleaning or inspection is required. The DXN is available in single phase or three phase with single element or three element configurations and the DXT is available in single phase with single element configuration
  •     Packaged Hot Water Boilers are 100% efficient with over 98% of the energy consumed transferred directly to the water. They come in 5 different series
  •     MX Pipe-Insert Immersion Heater is designed to provide uniformly distributed heat to storage vessels containing high viscosity liquids such as asphalt, molasses, tar, paint, glue, wax and oils without causing charring or coking. Units are installed in a suitable metal pipe contained inside the storage vessel (minimum 2" (51 mm) diameter), then heat is transferred safely from the heating element of the MX heater to the inner wall of the pipe by a combination of convection and radiation. This heater is a safe, cost-effective and virtually maintenance-free solution that eliminates the need for high maintenance pumps or open flames, which may present a fire hazard, especially when the liquid being heated is flammable.
  •     WXH & WXL Process Duct Heaters are designed for installation in process ducts to heat air or other non-hazardous gases. Installation can be in any position: top, bottom, or side mounting. The heater is inserted into a duct through a hole and secured with suitable bolts, studs or screws.
  •     CX Screwplug Immersion Heater is used primarily to heat water in tanks through natural convection currents. Typical heaters have standard 1" - 2 1/2" NPT tapered plugs. Other sizes or plugs are available on special order.
  •     XDF Explosion-Proof Duct Heater is designed for heating air or gases in hazardous environments where potentially explosive substances are present, such as oil refineries, coal mines, petrochemical plants and sewage treatment plants. They use heavy walled carbon steel finned tubular (Calrod® type)* elements with nickel plated finish to provide safe, efficient, low temperature heat transfer.
