Z-system zener barriers are available with high density up to 2 channels / 12,5 mm width. Variants with field replaceable fuses provide a convenient means of disconnecting or open-circuiting the instrument loop without interfering with the wiring, making commissioning and maintenance operations much easier. -
The K-system comprises signal conditioners for signal transfer between control system and safe area as well as isolated barriers for communication with field devices in hazardous areas. H-System connects to the control system via a system connector and cable, reducing planning and start-up time. Pre-wired boards and snap-on interface modules make maintenance simple. Combined with minimized space requirements and low power dissipation in the cabinets, the H-System is a cost-effective solution. -
In process engineering plants such as refineries with exposed building parts or extensive water management systems, surge events can cause disastrous consequences: from damage or destruction of expensive components and machines to breakdown of complete automation systems not including risks to personnel.

Note: Vents are required for all 6000 series purging systems.
The 6000 series purge system reduces the classification within the protected enclosure from Zone 1 and 21 to non-hazardous area. General purpose equipment can be operated within the protected enclosure.

The Pepperl+Fuchs Bebco EPS 6500 Series Ex px purge and pressurization system provides reliable protection for operating general-purpose electrical equipment in Zone 1/21 explosion hazardous locations. Utilizing the flexible Ex p protection method, the 6500 Series is a fully automatic system. The 5000Q operates by controlling and monitoring compressed instrument air or inert gas through the protected enclosure(s) to remove and prevent the accumulation of flammable gas, vapors, or dust. The Pepperl+Fuchs Enviro-Line purging units is an enclosure pressurization system for non hazardous areas that operates on a supply of compressed instrument air or inert gas. It regulates and monitors the pressure within the sealed enclosure at a constant pressure in order to prevent the accumulation of damaging and caustic gases and dusts.
The elimination of these gases and dusts extends the life of expensive electrical equipment and instrumentation placed within the Enviro-Line purging unit.Due to higher pressures inside the electrical enclosure, corrosive environments remain outside. The system maintains a constant 0.5" water pressure inside the enclosure for protection against gas and/or dust.- Environmental purge for nonhazardous areas
